Autumn ’22 ā€” My writing life involves days of typing alone, so it was a joy to spend time with a talented, inspiring group of creative women during a pilot coaching programme led by Tanya Paget of Ellipsis coaching. Here is a short video of what we did.
Sept ’22 – Tutored a viking themed flash fiction workshop at Aberdeen Art Gallery, for creatives aged 15-21, inspired by the fabulous Galloway Hoard.
Autumn ’22 – A pinch myself moment as Meg Pokrass, author of seven flash fiction collections, Mslexia columnist and founding editor of Best MicroFictions, agrees to be my mentor, as I edit my debut flash fiction collection, exploring mothering in its widest sense. Huge thanks to the Scottish Book Trust for organising.
July ’22 – Awarded second place in the Romance Matters Summer Flash Fiction competition (Magazine for the Romantic Novelists’ Association)
