Sept ’22 – Tutored a viking themed flash fiction workshop at Aberdeen Art Gallery, for creatives aged 15-21, inspired by the fabulous Galloway Hoard.
Autumn ’22 – A pinch myself moment as Meg Pokrass, author of seven flash fiction collections, Mslexia columnist and founding editor of Best MicroFictions, agrees to be my mentor, as I edit my debut flash fiction collection, exploring mothering in its widest sense. Huge thanks to the Scottish Book Trust for organising.
July ’22 – Awarded second place in the Romance Matters Summer Flash Fiction competition (Magazine for the Romantic Novelists’ Association)

August 21 – This UNCANNY theme really pushed me outside my writing comfort zone, so I was especially thrilled to be LONGLISTED!
August 21 – Absolutely delighted that The Fight of the Wyld Cattis, my piece about Scottish Wildcats, will be included in the World Wildlife Fund Great Scottish Canvas , available to view in their virtual gallery here. It will also be exhibited at the Glasgow Science Centre during October, and will be printed in the Great Scottish Canvas book, which will be used during the UN Climate Conference, COP26.
